Penny Drop is pleased to announce the 2012 first-time Australian tour for US dream team Wild Flag.
With members hailing from Portland Oregon and Washington DC, and together flaunting some serious musical pedigree, Wild Flag is Carrie Brownstein, Janet Weiss, Mary Timony and Rebecca Cole. Between them, they have played in some acclaimed and influential bands over the years, including Sleater-Kinney, Helium, The Minders and Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks to name just a few.
Already announced for Golden Plains Sixxx, Wild Flag will also play Perth on Wednesday 7 March at Bakery, Melbourne on Friday 9 March at Corner Hotel, Brisbane on Sunday 11 March at The Zoo and Sydney on Tuesday 13 March at Manning Bar.
