Making their long-awaited Australian debut,
Penny Drop and Frontier Touring are excited to welcome Portland-based indie rockers STRFKR as they embark on theatre dates across the country in February 2025.

The band will kick off their visit down under at Freo.Social on Tuesday 18 February before heading to Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thursday 20 February, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday 22 February and The Princess in Brisbane on Sunday 23 February before wrapping up at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Tuesday 25 February.

Originating as a solo project by Joshua Hodges in 2007, STRFKR quickly developed into a four-piece as members Keil Corcoran, Shawn Glassford and Arian Jalali joined the band. Known for their blend of thoughtful lyrics and party-starting hooks, STRFKR have perfected a style that masks emotional complexities and existential searching in hyper-catchy, melody-forward pop music, loved by fans and critics alike.

With experimentalism at the core of what they do, STRFKR have a diverse catalogue of music spanning 15 years. Following the release of their debut self-titled album which focused on creating engaging, thought-provoking songs that people could dance to, the band went on to release six full-length studio albums – Reptilians (2011), Jupiter (2012), Miracle Mile (2013), Being No One, Going Nowhere (2016), Future Past Life (2020) and their most recent, Parallel Realms (2024), with each release offering a unique blends of genres, growing the band’s creative and commercial success.

Their immersive live show has taken STRFKR to the stages of almost every major festival worldwide, the band’s exuberantly unruly live performance delivering non-stop fun to adoring audiences.

After a decade of wowing audiences across the globe with their unmissable show, STFKR will finally make their magic happen in Australia this summer. Get ready for a night fuelled with high-octane, memory-making performances as STRFKR head across the country this February.
